The Drawing Class

The Drawing Class

Saturday 25 May
N Clark Street - 10am - 2 Hours
Geanina Zaharia
The Drawing Class is nice art meeting for all beginners or intermediate artists who want to know more about portraiture and portrait/human face in art. We will focus on different methods and techniques in drawing the face on a surface. Also we will start steps by step creating a portrait after a picture reference with my proper guidance.
Come along to our meetups to improve your art in a relaxed and social atmosphere, and under the guidance of a professional instructor. Complete beginners to experienced artists all welcome.

Our 2 hour meetups are held in a different location each time, usually outdoors.

Bring your own materials which can be anything from pencils or pastels, to watercolour or oils.

If you are a complete beginner all you need to start are a couple of good drawing pencils, a rubber, and a drawing pad.

Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. The instructor is there to help everyone.

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

Zaharia Geanina was really good sharing her knowledge, explaining clear and showing a lot of patience while providing instruction. I will definitely recommend her classes.
Very informative!
Geanina Zaharia
I'm a Romanian artist who loves creation, imagination, colors, peace, and beauty in art. I have studied different techniques of arts throughout years such as illustrations, portraits, art compositions, traditional techniques (pencil, ink, painting), digital techniques (2D illustration, graphic design), and also 3d modeling and animation in Autodesk Maya for my art degree. Now I'm trying to find my own path and create something beautiful using all information I learned these years!
My focus is at the moment to graphite pencil portrait drawings and realism, this is what I did in the last two years and still working in this area.

Geanina Zaharia is available for private bookings

When I first got my condo I saw this space above my bathtub as the perfect place to create a mural. I wanted the tile in the mural and other elements to blend with the tile above the tub. I am also partial to arches so I wanted to incorporate that along with wisteria as purple is my favorite color. I wanted to create a fantasy country scene that I could enjoy for many years. This mural was painted in 2008. I also painted an arched palladium window above the door and have arched mirrors above the

The Grape Hyacinth is the latest in a series of digital paintings celebrating the beginning of Spring! The Grape Hyacinth is considered a weed by some, but this artist considers it a small thing of joy. Bring out the sun, the warmer weather, and some peaceful afternoons in the garden.
